Delhaye Bakery

A bit of context

For several generations, Boulangerie Delhaye has been an artisanal reference in Belgium. The company combines traditional know-how, large-scale production, and local service.

In addition to its bakery-pastry shop activities, the brand welcomes a significant clientele daily in its sandwich shop. Particularly frequented by local businesses and workers.

Delhaye Bakery

A bottleneck during peak times

However, Boulangerie Delhaye faced a high concentration of orders over a short time frame, mainly between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM. The daily influx created significant pressure for both the production teams and the counter staff.

Moreover, during peak hours, many orders arrived simultaneously. As a result, the queues quickly lengthened, and the organization became more challenging to manage in real-time. This also impacted the customer experience, leading to longer wait times and less fluidity during service.

The delivered project

Thanks to a booking system designed for field use, Delhaye improves its internal organization while providing a faster, simpler, and more comfortable experience for its clients.
Delhaye Bakery

A simple and effective tool

To address this issue, we developed an online ordering platform accessible via a customer account. This way, users can order their sandwiches in advance with just a few clicks.

Now, orders are transmitted in real-time to the teams via a tablet with notifications. This solution allows for better preparation, streamlines production, and improves workload distribution.

Moreover, the system works in conjunction with a pickup kiosk installed on-site. This way, customers can quickly collect their orders without having to wait in line.

Got a project in mind?

Do you have a clear business challenge, a specific need, or simply the feeling that your current tools no longer fit?

A custom platform can transform the way you work and become a real performance driver.

This is already the second time I’ve worked with the team on two projects, and both times it was a pleasure. I can only recommend trusting them with your website or design project.
